The good news that a perfect God loved a flawed and broken world full people who refuse to follow him so much that he sent his Son, Jesus Christ, to take the wrath of God against people on himself. This punishment was a substitute on people’s behalf and is available to all who believe and put their trust in Jesus’ sacrifice.

Jesus showed his power over death itself by rising from the dead. Because of this everyone who rejects their old way of living, rejects living for personal gain, for power, for comfort, or for pleasure, and instead trusts in Jesus’ work on the cross for us will be in a right relationship with God today and forever.

Romans 3:23 – For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.

John 3:16 – For God so loved the world that he gave his only son, so that whoever believes in him won’t die, but will have eternal life

Isaiah 53:5 – But he was pierced for our rebellion, crushed for our sins. He was beaten so we could be whole. He was whipped so we could be healed.

Ephesians 2:4,5 – God is so rich in mercy, and he loved us so much, that even though we were dead because of our sins, he gave us life when he raised Christ from the dead. (It is only by God’s grace that you have been saved!)
