We love Jesus. We love students.
We want students to love Jesus.
We are the Student Ministries of Bethany Church in Greenland, NH.
We meet on Sunday at 9:00 AM and Wednesday at 6:30 PM for 7th-12th-grade students.
What We Do
Students spend the first 10-15 minutes hanging out and having snacks, this is followed by large group announcements and a teaching time followed by small group discussion time. Occasionally there will be a time of music worship on Sunday morning.
Our commitment is to help the students grow closer in their relationship with Jesus so that they can help people to become followers of Jesus, we call that disciples making disciples. We have found that the best way to do that is through teaching scripture to students in an engaging and relevant way. Students need to see the big story of scripture and how it is primarily God’s story, not a self-help book, and that it has the power to transform our lives.
Along with the base of biblical teaching on Sunday and Wednesday, we also have retreats focused on digging deep into scripture and community as well as multiple serving opportunities within the Barn and the Church.
Mentoring is also available to students who are interested in taking their next step of faith. Having a mentor can have an enormous impact on a students spiritual development.
We want every student to feel comfortable in the Barn and to feel safe sharing their honest personal struggles, we don’t think anyone is perfect or even close. We want the Barn to be the place where it’s okay to not be okay.
